Pehucci Children’s Home exists today because of the beautiful, courageous vision of our late founder, Mrs. Lucy Njenga. Driven by an unwavering love for the vulnerable, she used her own savings to take a profound leap of faith, founding a safe refuge for orphaned and neglected children in Kenya. For decades, she dedicated her life to being a true mother to hundreds of children, fiercely believing that every child deserved a safe haven, warm meals, a quality education, and a happy childhood.Though she has gone to be with the Lord, her legacy continues to breathe life into everything we do. Today, we carry her torch forward by ensuring her children are loved, fed, educated, and equipped for a bright tomorrow—but we cannot do it alone.
